How this works

  1. You give us the pool

Length, width, depths, and what's on it now. Two minutes, no phone call.

  2. We price it

Your numbers go straight to our estimator. A person builds the proposal — we don't send you a spreadsheet range.

  3. We confirm on site

Before anything is ordered, we measure it ourselves. If the price moves, you hear it from us first.

Price my pool

Seven quick questions. Rough numbers are fine.

1

Where is the pool?

This sets which of our crews handles it.

2

What is it built out of?

Resurfacing is a gunite job. Vinyl and fiberglass pools take a different repair entirely.

3

Shape and size

Pace it off or read it off your safety cover. We'll confirm on site before anything is ordered.

4

What's on it now, and what's wrong

Whether the old surface comes off or gets bonded over is the difference between two days of prep and five.

5

What you want instead

The finish is the single biggest number in the quote. If you're undecided we'll price two.

6

Anything we should know

Timing, a past repair that didn't hold, photos you can send over — all of it helps.

7

Where to send the price

What a Freedom resurfacing includes

  • Drain-down and full chip-out or prep of the failed surface
  • Bond coat where the existing shell calls for it
  • Your choice of plaster, quartz, or pebble interior
  • New main drain covers to current VGB code
  • Return fittings and light ring trim
  • Acid start-up and water balance by our service crew
  • Waterline tile and coping if you want it
  • Written proposal with the scope spelled out, not a verbal number

Straight answers

How much does resurfacing a pool actually cost?

It's driven almost entirely by two things: how many square feet of interior surface you have, and which finish you pick. That's why we ask for dimensions instead of guessing. A pool that takes plaster and a pool that takes pebble can be twice apart on the same shell.

Why won't you just put a number on the website?

Because the number would be wrong, and you'd find out it was wrong after we showed up. We'd rather spend a day building you something real than post a range that means nothing for your pool.

When should this get done?

In New England, most resurfacing happens at fall drain-down or in early spring before opening. Fall work means you swim on a new surface the day you open. Spring fills up fast, so the fall calendar is usually the better booking.

How long is the pool out of service?

Most jobs run one to two weeks from drain to refill, depending on prep, weather, and whether tile and coping are in the scope. We give you the window in writing with the proposal.

Do you work in Rhode Island too?

Yes. We're licensed in both states and run crews across the Connecticut shoreline, Fairfield County, and South County, RI.
